I'd never have supposed it

Better times are coming
Mixed in with the bad
Though I'd never had supposed it
A short while back

I'm learning just how much
God wants good things for me
Perhaps the hardest choice
Not always what I need

There's been a misapprehension
I failed to make the connection
Between the life I lead
And God's love for me
