But Kiri - she is so special to me
With her true self-awareness & brave honesty

Yes in some ways she's different from you; yet she
Still understands what you've been through
She too has her own struggles & fears
And - like you - turns to me in her tears

She has no idea of what I have yet in store
For her, in this life & the one still to come,
But I'm using already her gifts & her flaws
