His suffering & death are proof

Only he can really know
The pain you're going through
Beaten, deserted & disowned
He gave his life for you

But that Jesus rose again
Means all the power is his
Satan's schemes must always fail
As you learn to trust in Jesus

So we can draw on his strength
His power to heal our pain
Come closer to Jesus, find comfort in him
Turns out troubles into our gains
